When I was in high school the whole internet thing was just starting and I remember going into online chat rooms and having lots of meaningless conversations. It amazes me that I even knew how to access these. I have no idea what I used to talk about even. Just regular teenage gossip I suppose, punctuated by actual exchange of ideas. The last time I was in a chat room was probably circa '99, when going into a chat room would break up the monotony of the desk temp jobs I was working at the time.
